The Mockernut Show
The Mockernut Show is an annual fall pottery sale hosted by Doug Dotson and Ronan Peterson at Doug Dotson Pottery.
The Mockernut Show 2026
Ronan makes highly decorated earthenware inspired by natural forces of growth and decay. Doug makes earthy and lively soda fired stoneware pottery. Both make pottery that is made to be used and enjoyed daily.
This year’s invited guests are studio potter Amy Deystone, rock artist Kate Parrent, and painter Peg Bachenheimer. Amy makes functional pottery as well as ceramic sculpture. Kate will bring her menagerie of rock art; smooth drawn on stones including a motley crew of kooky characters. Peg will be showing her paintings which are luminous, richly layered, and a delight to be around.
